What happens when you combine an appreciation dinner, a re-election campaign, and the grand opening for a historic house? Mayhem? Of course. But murder…?

The audience is invited to a fundraising gala event for a restored historic house. Local political and historical squabbles are upstaged when the guest of honor—a famous mystery author—arrives with a few secrets of her own.
